MORTON – Harlie LeRoy Rhodes, 92, of Morton, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton. He was born on March 3, 1932, in Princeville, Ill., to Harlie Joseph and Wilda Leona (Burns) Rhodes. LeRoy married Garna Rhodes on January 12, 1951, in Wyoming, Ill. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2022. He was also preceded in death by one infant daughter, Linda Lou Rhodes and siblings, David F. Rhodes, Juanita Rhodes, Hariette Thurston, Duane Rhodes and Gerald Rhodes.. Surviving are his daughters, Debora Rhodes of Normal and Brenda (Dr. John) Baer of Tremont; grandchildren, Adam (Katrina) Rhodes, Tressa (Maxwell) Schneider, Rebekah (Matt Mocilan) Baer, Sophia (Jeremiah) Thacker and Anna (Josh Norman) Baer; four great grandchildren; and two brothers, Gilbert and James Rhodes. LeRoy was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a salesman for Fuller Brush and Jewel Tea. LeRoy also delivered flowers for 10 years for Johnsons Flora
