MORTON – Patricia Ann Dennison, adored family matriarch, of Morton, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at the age of 83 following an extended illness. Patricia was dearly loved and defined by her endless generosity, her devotion to family and her remarkable faith.
She was born on February 28, 1941, in Streator, Illinois, to Joseph M. and Rosella R. (Broderick) Kanne. Patricia attended her beloved Marycrest College and graduated from Northern Illinois University, majoring in English and minoring in French. She met her husband, Ray, through a mutual friend who was member of the corvette club to which Ray belonged. The couple settled in Joliet, Illinois, and started their family, ultimately moving to Morton when Ray decided to start his own business. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Cheryl Dolan.
