MORTON – Todd J. Fortman, 61, of Morton, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, at his home. He was born on May 20, 1963, in Peoria, Illinois, to Jim and Dianne (Fisher) Fortman. Todd married Crystal R. Hollan on November 22, 1986, in Morton. She preceded him in death on June 28, 2018. He was also preceded by his grandparents, Bess and Harm Fortman and Mabel and Herman Fisher and; uncle, Michael Fisher. He is survived by his children, Brandon Fortman of Morton and Brooke Fortman, of East Peoria; parents, Jim and Dianne Fortman of Peoria; sister, Jill (Barney) Perkins of St. Augustine, Fla.; nephew, Joshua (Kristin) Perkins; niece, Nicole (Liz) Perkins; aunts, Jackie Fortman and Jane Fisher; cousin, Julie (Nathan) Ciota and many great nieces and nephews. Along with his children, nephew, Dan Shaw, and special girlfriend, Shannon Auperle Gaunt, all provided loving home care for Todd during his illness.
