PEORIA – Laurie L. Crandall, 87, of Peoria, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born on October 9, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, to Walter and Elaine (Bloore) Ott. She married Bernard Crandall on September 29, 1956, in Chicago. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carol Gruber. Surviving are her two sons, David (Linda) Crandall of Knoxville, Tennessee and Mark (Kim) Crandall of Morton; one daughter, Lisa Crandall of California; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and her in-laws, Don and Eva Barnas and Carole Robinson. Laurie was a homemaker. Cremation rites have been accorded and burial at a later date will be in St. Luke Cemetery in Chicago. Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.
