LaDonna Bobbitt, 84, of Peoria, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, at her residence with her family by her side.She was born on Nov. 30, 1939, in Mayfield, the daughter of Chester and Metomah Rohrer Saxon. She married Charles A. Bobbitt in Marion, Arkansas, on Sept. 30, 1977.Surviving are her husband and children, Karen (Michael) Haven, of Brownsburg, Indiana, Angie Bobbitt, of Bartlett, and Phil Bobbitt, of Bartlett, Tennessee. She also has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Roger (Kathy) Saxon, of Syracuse, and one sister, Marlene (Ed) Johnson, of Mayfield, Kentucky, surviving.Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 4 pm on Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at Mason-White Funeral Home, with pastor Scot Caley officiating Visitation will also be held from 2-3:45 p.m. at the funeral home .In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association Peoria Chapter, 614 W Glen Ave, Peoria, IL 61614.
