Ervin "Ernie" Wayne Brewer, 73, of Peoria, IL passed away on Friday August 9, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Ernie is survived by his children, Justin (Tracy) Brewer, Jeremy (Jennifer) Brewer and Amber Brewer, his grandsons, Colten and Brandon. He is also survived by his brother, Melvin, his in-laws, Starla (Dave) Roberts, Inez Roberts Gruber, Sharon (Danny) Northrup, and Marilyn Roberts, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his wife of more than 40 years, Ronda, in 2018, and his parents, Jesse and Annis Brewer, sister Twila, and his grandson, Taylor. And his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenny Roberts, Bobby Roberts, and Vicky Roberts, and parents-in-law, William and Norma Crowe Roberts.
Ernie attended Elmwood High School and lived most of his life there. He did everything in his life with 100% passion. His work as a Local 18 cement mason lives on today across Central Illinois, most notably the old Elmwood school transformation into apartments and the I-74 conversion
