Janette Kleffman, 64, of Marquette Heights, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2024.
She was born on July 2, 1960, to her loving parents, Barb Wason and Jerry Lyons. She was an incredibly loving mother of her two sons, Jon and Alex Kleffman;
warm hearted and dedicated wife to Josef Kleffman; and grandmother of Breck Kleffman and Elle Hackward.
She worked at the Peoria County Courthouse for 17 years and was known by everyone as the beacon of happiness, who loved everyone she worked with.
Jan and Josef loved their family and loved to leave town for the weekend to go explore places they had never been before. They enjoyed going to their favorite restaurants. They also found great joy in going to both their sons' sporting events and always showing support. She was passionate about researching her family heritage and knowing everything there was to know about her ancestors. She was an avid reader of Stephen King and a massive Chicago Cubs fan.
