Carolyn F. Kresin, 84, of Germantown Hills, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
Carolyn was born on March 24, 1940, a daughter of Walter and Dorothy (Koncher) Burk. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Walter "Bud" Burk, Virginia Reich, and infant sibling Judith.
She is survived by her ex-husband Dale; daughters, Lori (Claude) Newberry of Readyville, TN, Kimberly (Jerry) Wienzierl of Joelton, TN and Kelly (Paul) von Nordheim of Washington; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Carolyn worked in the bridal registry department at Bergner's in Pekin. She enjoyed cooking, crafting, and sewing.
Per Carolyn's wishes, there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation rites have been accorded.
