John H. Foster, 86, of Eureka, IL and formerly of Washington, IL, died at 5 am on Monday, March 3, 2025 at The Loft in Eureka.
Born on February 18, 1939 in Peoria, IL to Harold and Ann Boice Foster, he married Sharon Osborne on June 6, 1964 in Morton, IL. She survives.
Also surviving is 4 children; Barb (Kent) Lee of Washington, IL, John (Vickie) Foster of Metamora, IL, Lori (Terry) Westhafer of Peoria, IL and Jeff (Katie) Foster of Morton, IL, 1 sister, Mary Eakle of Washington, IL, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Bill and Fred, and 1 sister, Helen Becker.
John was the owner and operator of Foster's Concrete and Metro Mobile Ready Mix, both in Washington, for many decades. He enjoyed playing golf with his family, often at Hillcrest Golf Course with Sharon. He loved dirt track racing, driving his street stock car and owned a late model dirt track car. John enjoyed duck and goose hunting and was an avid Green Bay Packers f
