Curtis Fauth, 82, beloved Father, Spouse, Son, Brother, Father-in-law, Grandfather, and stepfather, was called to his eternal resting place on Sunday, March 2, 2025. He entered this world on September 19, 1942, in Peoria, IL, born to Carl and Dorothy Kuntz Fauth.
He is survived by his son Douglas Fauth (Kathy), daughter Lynne Prather (Dean), sister Jeannie Herrin, and grandchildren Tyler Fauth, Nic Fauth, Ashley McMurtry (Dylan), Abigail Brooks, Hanna Brooks, and Ian Brooks.
Curt graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Parsons and a Master's Degree from Illinois State University. He worked as a teacher, counselor, and coach and loved sports of all kinds. He enjoyed working with his players and students to help them achieve their potential both on and off the field. He was a lifelong Cubs and Bears fan who was thrilled to see the Cubs win a World Series.
