EAST PEORIA – Christopher T. "Chris" Lux, 62, of East Peoria, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria. Chris was born on August 6, 1962, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Russell John Jr. and Rosalie (Chuhinka) Lux. Surviving are his children, Zachary (Alicia) Lux and Meagan (Michael, Jr.) Kalb; grandchildren, Jocelynn, Freyja and Tyr Lux; siblings, Russell III (Yvonne Miller-Lux) Lux, John (Denise) Lux and Paul (Kim) Lux; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Susan Gallo. Chris served as a military policeman in the United States Army. Chris loved joy rides on his motorcycle and spending time with his grandchildren.
