Carol A. Blye, 93, of Washington, IL, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka, IL.
She was born on December 22, 1931, in Eureka, IL, the daughter of Herbert and Margaret Kuecks Keil. She married Charles M. Blye in Washington, IL, on June 1, 1952. He passed away on June 9, 2019. One sister, Norma Jean Davis, and two brothers, Kenneth and Warren Keil, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Steve (Barbara) Blye of Arlington Heights, IL, and three daughters: Sharon (Ted) Pittenger of Washington, IL, Laurie (Fred) Martin of Bloomington, IL, and Lisa (Roger) Moore of Rochester, IL. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Carol's life began and ended in Eureka, Illinois, but her journey spanned far beyond! Raised on a dairy farm in Washington, Illinois, alongside her sister and two brothers, Carol helped them with daily chores, walked a mile to school, and was active in church and Grange. In high school, she served
