Laurie Ann Waibel passed away at her home in Congerville, IL on Wednesday March 5, 2025, at age 67 in the loving care of her husband and daughter.
She was born in Pekin, Illinois, on September 17, 1957 and spent her formative years in central Illinois, surrounded by its familiar charm. Along the way, she also ventured through the sun-soaked landscapes of California, the rugged beauty of Nevada, Arizona and the mountains of Colorado. Each place contributed to the rich tapestry of her life.
Her enduring spirit lives on through her husband Greg; stepfather, Norm Moore; her devoted daughter, Lisa Schell; and her cherished grandson, Joseph Schell. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Linda Riedlinger and Janet Wilcox (married to Jon Wilcox); her brother, Mark Riedlinger (joined by Kim Riedlinger); and her stepsisters, Paige Tate (married to John Tate) and Diane Moore. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Barbara Ann Moore.
