BLOOMINGTON – Joyce R. Mutters, 88, of Bloomington, formerly of Morton, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, at Westminster Village (Martin Health Center) in Bloomington. She was born March 25, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Raymond and Wilhelmina (Helms) Toussaint. Joyce married Robert "Bob" Mutters on July 20, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on May 19, 2023. Joyce was also preceded in death by her son, Scott and brother, Warren Toussaint. Surviving are her children, Nancy (Steve) Smith and Richard (Kelly) Mutters, both of Bloomington; daughter-in-law, Deidre Mutters of Darien, Ill.; grandchildren, Ashton (Aaron), Zachary (Lauren), Danielle (Anthony), Jake, Kyle (Ruthie), Jessie (Ryan), Melissa and Matthew; and great-grandchildren, Ainsley, Hailey, Skyler, Amelia, Carson, Harper and Aiden. Joyce was a crossing guard for Morton School District 709 for many years. She took great pride in protecting her students as they walked to and from school each day. Joyce
